The Northeastern region of India is immensely diverse with 45 million people speaking over 200 languages from various cultures and traditions. Despite this abundance, the prodigious talents of the area go unnoticed due to the remoteness of the region.

In 2018, our founders Robin Wahengbam and Vijita Ningombam decided to take a stand and build a company that not only supports artists from northeastern India, but also exposes them to national and international audiences.

R&V Art House was inaugurated on September 9, 2018 and hosted their first Manipur Art Festival inviting 30 artists to showcase their work in Imphal, Manipur.

Manipur Art Fest takes place in September every year. Apart from the festival, we have continued to promote artists through various collaborations with art companies, galleries, government and non-government organizations around the world.
